In Thoughts

Birdy Diamond, Roving Robin & Paranormal DivaHey, there, #CustomerLove-rs!

How is it going?

  • Your biz.
  • Your challenge.
  • Life in general.

For me, it’s been a week of transition. Mike & Borders officially parted company as of Sunday, April 17th. Overall, this is a good thing, and I wish them well in their reworkings. It has been a time to move forward and to embrace our new lives, which inevitably means moments of looking back and thinking ‘what if?’.

How about you? Tell me about your week in the comments. How has it gone for you, both inside and outside of the Challeenge?

The Challenge

LaVonneEllis -When you start to doubt yourself, think, “What do I need to hear right now?” And say that to your people. They need it too. #customerlove

The Qs from Sunday’s Tweetchat, placed for your perusal.

Our Fearless Leader being down with a migraine, Christy Bower stepped in to maintain order and give us some things to think about.

  • Q1: We’re halfway through the challenge. How is it going?
  • Q2. It sounds like everyone is learning to pace themselves. What are you doing to maintain balance?
  • Q3. What do you need to do in the second half of April to maintain your momentum (or balance)?
  • Q4. Do you need help with anything? Input? Advice? Want to run an idea past us?
  • Q5. How does loving your customers seem different this time? Are you approaching them differently? New strategy?

The Qs from Tuesday’s Tweetchat, provided for your pondering.
Topic: Unexpected Obstacles

  • Q1. What screws up your day?
  • Q2. What do you do when unexpected obstacles screw with your plans?
  • Bonus Q from Tori Deaux: Have you ever tried talking to the obstacles or not-on-trackness?
  • Q3. How do you get back on track after getting knocked off?
  • Q4. Do you ever ask for help getting back on track?
  • Q5. Are you afraid of how others see you if you ask for help?

The Qs from Saturday’s Skype Call (insert alliteration of choice here! :-D)
Topic: How we can help promote each other.

  • Q1. How many of us are doing affiliate programs?
  • Q2. If not, how else can we promote our fellow peeps?
  • Q3. How much do you want ‘it’? Enough to overcome your fears of selling?

Audio:  No audio available this week alas. :>

Widening the Web

Here are people and organizations who are exemplifying the ideals of #CustomerLove, tho’ they are not formally in the challenge.

  • In Hokkaido, Japan, the Hokkaido Guide Dogs Association has opened a shelter for retired guide dogs. What a wonderful way to help those who have spent their lives helping others. (via The Daily Tail)
  • The Chantey Cabin is a great example of showing CustomerLove. From their excellent customer service, which I have been privileged to experience first-hand, to their free radio show “Scuttlebutt Radio”, their passion for the world of sea songs shines through everything they do.

Over to you!

Who have you found that shows the qualities of an awesometastic #CustomerLover, but for whatever reason is not part of the Challenge?

Let me know, either in the comments or by Tweet at EncouragingBird or by e-mail at Birdy at that-fantabulous-site-about-living-a-paranormal-lifestyle crowtarottours dot com.

Flying Away (but not for long!)

That’s it for this time.
Back to creating the fantabulousness! 😀
I’ll catch you on the wing!
