In Complete Flakery

Natalie Peluso, aka The Tiny Soprano, has renamed, repurposed, and relaunched her site. It’s now Sing Your Truth, and I love it.

Natalie, in case you don’t know her and can’t guess from the handle, is a soprano. A tiny soprano. A freaking OPERA SINGER, fercrissake. I can’t even fathom that. How on earth did I wind up friends with an opera singer from Australia? Only on the internet, my friends, only on the internet.

So, Natalie wanted to make a big splash with the relaunch of her site, and what better way to get people to sing THEIR truth than with some Fearless Karaoke? She invited a whole bunch of us bloggers — yes, including me — to sing the Queen song, Don’t Stop Me Now. And I must say, there were several really good singers in the bunch. [Not me, tragically.] Plus it’s just plain awesome. Really.

Check it out. I don’t think you’ll have any trouble spotting me.

p.s. Kudos to Nat’s gorgeous Italian husband, Antonio, for the great work editing the video. He did a fantastic job!

I thought your deadpan delivery made the whole video, LaVonne. Also, how adorably cute are Andrew and his husband?

Funny, at the time I just couldn't wait to get it over with, I was so
embarrassed, and now I'm loving my newfound web celebrity!
