In Thoughts

I’ve come across so much good stuff to share with you that I forgot some of it. Because of course, I didn’t take notes. I’m like those dads on Christmas morning who insist on putting the toys together without reading the instructions: it’s the way I roll, man.

Fortunately, I HAVE been making use of Evernote, which turns out to be a very handy way of keeping track of good stuff. Highly recommended. And free!

I’ve been having an ass week, productivity-wise. I’m behind on so many things, and it was starting to weigh on me. I was starting to think, What’s the use, I’ll always be a flake, there’s no point in fighting it, might as well give up. I was beginning to fantasize about pulling out the embroidery hoop and threading a needle. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! But I took it as a sign that I need to take a serious look at my resistance problem.

And then — lo and behold, I got an email from Susan Johnstone of The Heart’s Voice. I had won one of three free spots in her new Wisdom of Resistance course, which I had forgotten applying for several days earlier. Wow, talk about the Universe answering our requests! And I can tell how much I need it from how much I DON’T want to do this. It starts Tuesday, if you want to make friends with YOUR resistance.

And today, I got a chance to take part in Pamela Wilson’s Big Brand System marketing and design course. Woot! I’ve been dreaming of making enough money to PAY Pamela to redesign this site. Now she’s going to teach me how to do it myself. How cool is that? So look for some improvements around here in the next few months. Pamela closes the door on The Big Brand System TONIGHT, so jump in now if you want in.

And you know what? The week is suddenly looking a whole lot better. 🙂 Have a great weekend!

LOL on the embroidery comment! I love those synchronicities. I am a great resister as well, but I've recently figured out that there's a message for me in that resistance. It really can be a friend in disguise if it makes me aware of something that feels out of alignment for me. Can't wait to hear more about what you gain from Susan's course.

Hi LaVonne, I never got to hear the back story of what was going on for you when you found out you'd won your spot in the class. I love it when the Universe reaches out to encourage us!

Thank you so much for mentioning the program and I can't wait to see what you uncover in your compassionate dialogue. = >

Hmm, a message in the resistance… hadn't thought of that, but now I see
that when I'm resisting writing, it's usually because I don't feel that I
have enough information. Of course, all I need to do is some research, but I
resist THAT just out of plain laziness, lol!

Haha, and I am SO resisting digging in to the course! Can't believe it's
actually bringing up all kinds of anxiety. I can hear myself thinking, “But
I don't WANNA give up my resistance!”
