It’s my birthday!!! I’m 73! And I don’t feel as excited as these exclamation points imply! I don’t feel excited about that at all, in fact, although I’m not bummed out or anything.
It’s just another day, that’s all. It’s like that when you’ve had so many birthdays: here’s another one. Nothing to get all worked up about.
Except for the fact that I just launched my memoir, Green Card: An Inconvenient Marriage—seven long years after I wrote it. Now, that is something to be excited about.
My birthday gift to you is that I’ve made it free for the next three days so you can grab a copy without spending any hard-earned cash. If you do, I hope you love it so much that you go back and post a review. Think of it as a birthday present to me. 😉
Thank you so much, now go read it!
Happy Birthday!! Thanks for the gift. I’m definitely going to read it and will leave a review. Heading for a week’s vacation and not sure how much time I’ll have to read but my goal is to have it read and reviewed by the end of the month, if not sooner.
Thank you, Sheila!
Hey, LaVonne! Just wanted to come back here and tell you that I really enjoyed the book Green Card. It was a great fun read and a great way to learn more about you. Thanks for the birthday gift to us on your birthday. I left my review on Amazon. I look forward to reading more blog posts and books, so Write, Dammit!
Thanks, Sheila!
