It has been suggested that it’s time to have some fun. I have been in vandweller boot camp mode for long enough. After all, the whole point of this exercise is to travel, to see things, to get into nature.
Yes, I’m still recovering from the financial hit of buying the van and can’t afford to travel far, but “can’t afford” has always been my go-to excuse.
There are plenty of trips and discoveries to be made within a very short radius of Quartzsite that will cost next to nothing in gas. Not to mention some fascinating stories and people in Q itself.

p.s. Re the other night’s urinary debacle, all is well. Nothing a visit to the laundromat (and a six-dollar shower) couldn’t cure. 🙂

You are right of course, nothing a $6 shower and the laundromat can’t cure. I had a similar “spill” in my van once. Baking soda is your friend.
Work on my rig continues…I also start a job today to help pay for all the necessaries like my window flying off and breaking to bits because I neglected to screw it back in properly.
