Listen up! Today (Friday September 9th) is your last chance to get the Customer Love Compass at half price – click here to pick it up for just $7. (If you feel like it’s too cheap to buy, that’s ok – it goes up to $14 tomorrow and you can buy it then if you prefer. Alternatively, you can just send us lots of money.)
So, today is the last of the three sample answers to CustomerLove Compass questions. Our guest is the inspirational artist, Emily Rose.
We mean that in both senses: Emily produces inspirational art, but is an artist who serves as an inspiration – her enthusiasm, talent and ability to spell Cincinnati make her one of our favorite CustomerLovers.
Over the years I have learned use many coping skills for dealing with my physical and mental health limitations and I strive to teach these coping skills to others. I believe that these are skills that need to be taught before monumental problems occur in our lives so we can move forward instead of having to pick up the pieces.I teach coping skills through metaphors and personal experiences. I do my best to reframe limitations into a situation where people can learn, overcome and grow – they may not be easy to get over, but it is an ever-evolving process to live successfully with them, instead of unsuccessfully against them.
Some people may need more intensive programs, counseling and therapy one-on-one with a professional. The skills I teach are not a substitute for professional help – but I can help to bridge the gap between understanding limitations and dealing with them successfully.
This whole idea of actually preparing for crises is a bit alien to us, but after a bit of thought, we agree that it’s a really good idea.
It’s been a thrill learning about the skills of some of our challengers – there are more Compasses in the works, so if you’re open to sharing your answers to a question (or if you have something you’d love us to do a Compass on), drop us an email and let us know!
