In the interview I forgot to mention something pretty important.
Before I launched my first course in October, I launched a free download of a Digital Camera Buying Guide. I used it to grow my subscriber list as part of the Customer Love challenge. I made it no opt-in, no strings attached, and there was no sales pitch at the end. That actually got me a lot of new subscribers in a very short time.
I also used that guide as a way to see if anyone was interested in what I had to say. It was much lower risk than charging for something. After I realized that people wanted my free guide, I got one more step closer to launching my course.
