The day we’ve all been working toward is here – time to launch your product or service. I’ve got some announcements, so check the video:
If you’re launching something today – or when you do – post it in the forum under Launch Your Product! (I said Shameless Self-Promotion 101 in the video, sorry about that.) I will be posting a weekly showcase of #customerlove challengers’ launches on Thursdays or Fridays, and I’ll get the information from your posts in the forum.
Here’s what I need from you:
- Your brief “elevator pitch”
- A link to your sales page
- A photo of your beautiful face, or a link to it
Let’s build our CustomerLove community in the forum – get to know each other, support each other, okay?
Which reminds me – when I say support each other, I’m not just talking about encouragement. I’m talking about buying each others’ products and services when we can. Think of it as virtually “buying local.” Let’s support our community as much as possible.
Announcements:
- Next challenge: April Fool’s Day! That makes me smile. Let’s think of a cool way to kick it off, okay? Smart-ass ideas welcome.
- I’m writing an e-book! It’s gonna be chock-full of great ideas to help make your next challenge totally awesome. ๐
- AND… we’re partnering up with Sandi Amorim (@devacoach) to provide you with the support you need to get through any stuckness or fears you may have about the challenge and creating your products. That’s gonna happen a little later, but for now Sandi has a special “Make me an offer” offer to tide you over until the next challenge. Check it out.
Gratitude:
- Managing editor Tisha Berg (@TishaBerg)
- Senior editor Holly Jackson (@copygeniusgirl)
- Challenge co-host Jonathan Wondrusch (@bybloggers)
- All the amazing guest posters
- All the awesome #customerlove challengers
- And especially our fairy godmother… Naomi Dunford (@naomidunford)
THANK YOU!!!!
Ahh! You mentioned the shop local thing!! ๐ I was just thinking about that lately. We totally need a nifty tagline for it. ๐
And I strangely do have a product… ๐ Thanks for all of your hard work this month, LaVonne! And Jonathan too!
It was you! I couldn’t remember who brought that up… thanks for commenting. Yes, a nifty tagline is definitely called for. I think we should get Colin on it, don’t you? He’s my go-to word guy. ๐
My strategic reason is I’m not quite finished yet! However, I’m pleased with the progress seeing as it was into the second week before I decided what to write.
Thanks to you LaVonne and Jonathan for a great challenge!
Ryah, decision time is very important and takes as long as it takes. In Action Studio, we took at least two weeks just in ‘dream mode’ – trying on new ideas, changing our minds, refining, etc. To an outsider, it appeared very woo-woo and unproductive, but that period was crucial.
I wonder if that method of creation has to do with personality type, because I’ve noticed that more left-brain types see it as a waste of time while right-brainers can’t produce much without it.
Jonathan and I are going to take a close look at what worked and what didn’t in the Customer Love Machine and make adjustments for next time. I don’t think we built in enough decision time… but we’re limited by the parameters of the challenge – 28 days.
