In Thoughts

Roger the Floor Elf

That’s right – I’m back. You would think that once I left the military I would have been over the whole ‘volunteer for everything’ dogma. Alas, it has not yet come to fruition. (Relax, I’m not that eloquent – I own a thesaurus…) Perhaps I should have read Kirsty’s Volunteer Post a bit more closely.

Here’s the latest stuff: The Latest Stuff (See?)

Holly Jackson (@copygeniusgirl) wrote our post for day 14: What keeps planes, marketing and Christmas in the air – which I thought was going to be a dissertation about the aerodynamics of aircraft, marketing and reindeer. As it turns out, I was completely incorrect – she doesn’t mention Santa once. Marketing aerodynamics is included, however, in case that’s what you do.

Wiki Stuff

@AmySeyBrown of The Making Room has started a Customer Love Wiki to include all the participants in our wonderful challenge! You can add yourself and any information you would like included. This will help other challengers learn a bit about you and what you do – and you can do the same with them.

Go ahead – fill it out, I’ll wait…

Facebook Stuff

In my wonderfully scattered and unorganized guest post, Where is Your Comfort Zone?, I mentioned Facebook pages. Some of us have them and some of us don’t – tell me if you don’t, and I’ll set one up for you!  Here are some that do. That I could find. That isn’t saying much:

If you have a facebook page already and it is not listed above, just let me know and we’ll get it in there. And if you are on Facebook, you should consider ‘liking’ these pages – except mine. Unless you wanna… ahhh, go ahead and like mine too, I have pretty pictures.

Contest Stuff

Christy (@thinkblotcom) is sponsoring a contest to win a free desk print. You can read the details on her contest page. There are several ways to win and you can enter more than once. Just think, if you win the desk print you can finally replace the framed image of that time in college when you woke up and your HelloKitty keyring was stuck to … What??? Oh, that was just me. Nevermind.

It’s a nice print.

Twitter Stuff

And a word about the last…

lb/£/# Stuff

Apparently the lbs. you will save with kirsty’s offer is equivelent to… what??? Oh – the £’s you save with kirsty’s offer is equivelent to $48 American. For those wondering that is 960 grams worth of nickels. That’s only 2.1 lbs. (American) so I was way off in my nickel math(s). The exchange rate right now is horrible! And I need to call Colin – anybody have his pound? Errr, number?

Collaborative Stuff

If you have anything you would like added into these highly irregular roving [something] reports just let me know. Shoot me an email at CL@FloorElf.com and please put ‘customer love’ in the subject line. Or just @ me  (That’s twitterese for a cyber kick in the head) @FloorElf. I need all the help I can get. Please send me your Facebook pages!

It’s day fourteen! Are you thinking about your product? 😀

      Hi Sandi,

Absolutely! In fact – you just did. 😀 In the next report I will have a running list of everyone’s that is sent to me.

You can also fill out your wiki page (link above) and put it on there. I think. I haven’t actually done mine yet – I’m a hypocrite like that.

But I did like your page, and I do like your page. It’s very, like, likable.

Roger, your Roving Whatever Reports are a great antidote to post-op knee pain — thank you!

FYI, I have another FB page at http://www.facebook.com/LivingACreativeLife
All “likes” are graciously welcome and accepted!

Also FYI, Sandbox Sessions are going great — there’s still room if anyone wants to join. Participants have raved about how productive the sessions have been for them. And totally free in November for Customer Love! 🙂

      Hey Melissa,

Thanks for the update! I’m sure some will take advantage of your Sandbox Sessions. Very generous of you to offer that.

Glad to hear the knee is doing fine.

      Thanks Birdy.

Nope, not a writer – still a tile guy. I just play a writer on the internet. 😀

      Hey Rachael,

I approve of your elftastic propensity for caffeine! Elves are taking over the world, no one knows it yet. I have a great disguise, too, I’m 5′ 15″ tall. They’ll never see that coming. 😀

      Absolutely my pleasure!

Good to know I’m not the only one with a dark side. 😀
